Street Kings

Street Kings is a 2008 American crime action thriller film directed by David Ayer from a screen play by James Ellroy, Kurt Wimmer and Jamie Moss. It stars Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans, Common and The Game. The film follows a troubled undercover police detective (Reeves) who is implicated in the murder of another officer. The film was released in theaters on April 11, 2008. It received mixed-to-negative reviews, but was a commercial success. It was followed by a direct-to-video stand-alone sequel, Street Kings 2: Motor City, in 2011.
